Born from a need for true nourishment

Managing life on your own is overwhelming, even more so when you, your kids, or a loved one isn't feeling well. We tried (and failed) to do it all – work, take care of the kids, prioritize home-cooked meals, and take care of extended family. We quickly realized that true well-being requires more: community support.

So, we created Be Well. We've brought together a network of dedicated local farmers, chefs, and trusted health practitioners to craft meals & remedies designed to support you when you need it most.

Our mission is community-support care – to help you take the effort out of healthy eating during critical times, so you can focus on healing and living your full life.

Helping you and your family stay healthy is my thing

Hi, I'm Kari, a wife, mom of two, and the heart behind Be Well.

Living a natural lifestyle and fostering community are what drive me to help you feel less overwhelmed and more healthy, all year long.

Not long ago I was struggling to manage working from home, taking care of the kids, and supporting my grandma as we all went in and out of optimal health.

From the outside, I looked like a super mom, able to do it all. But really I was overwhelmed, feeling like I wasn’t enough, and struggling to prioritize homemade, healthy meals.

I knew I needed support to keep my family staying healthy, so I made some partnerships with nutritionists and farmers that helped me truly do it all.

Now, our Be Well community has meal & remedy pairings for every common health need, and we’re here to offer them to you.

Let’s Be Well, together.

Meet our Be Well community

Moms, farmers, nutritionists, and herbalists on a mission to Be Well, together

We’re a collective rooted in the belief that true health thrives within a supportive community. We’re passionate about holistic health, sustainable sourcing, and simplifying nourishment for busy lives.

Our local farmers

  • Run by sisters and Sonoma County natives Anna and Sarah Dozor, Winter Sister Farm is a small farm in south Sebastopol that grows food with a specific eye towards feeding our community through the (sometimes) wet season of our Mediterranean climate. They cultivate your standard hardy favorites (potatoes, winter squash, onions, broccoli, kale), as well as some exciting specialty crops (dried beans, dried peppers) for their winter/spring CSA program and farmstand, both running late November through mid-May.

  • Organic & biodynamic farmer

Etyan is a farmer, gardener, herbalist and educator with 20 years of experience in the field of Regenerative Agriculture and Landscape Design.

Nourishment weavers

Experts who meticulously vet and thoughtfully curate every ingredient and recipe, ensuring each package delivers targeted healing and optimal nourishment, backed by science and traditional wisdom.

  • Clinical Herbalist, Doula, & Midwife

Carissa helps shape our Be Well packages with her expertise in herbalism and postpartum nutrition. She’s been supporting the health and well-being of mothers in the broader Bay Area community for a decade.

  • Ayurvedic Chef, Herbalist, & Mom

As a new mom, Katrina provides our community with tried and true meal & remedy pairings that support both kids and adults. She brings the best of both Western and Eastern, Ayurvedic, health practices to our community.
